Ford Escape hybrid to be recalled Tuesday, October 10, 2006 About 6,000 Ford Escape hybrids will be recalled to fix a faulty drivetrain shaft. The problem will be replaced by Ford if needed. There have been no reports of injuries or accidents caused by the problem. Additionally, the problem is not related specifically to hybrid technology.
